DANIEL JOHN MARTIN, SAMY DAUSSAT...
“It is Magical to see this character come alive as if out of a comic book of the 1950’s when it comes to music… His body and his violin become one, his singular voice seems to embrace the notes as would a brook the rocks in it’s bed. The new compositions regrouped here will acquaint you with the energy and the subtlety of the author, his power as well as his restraint. A moment of pure poetry, with a touch of gypsy soul, bearing a message of hope and of life that you must discover now.” Pierre GAGNAIRE - Famous french chef

Urban Gypsy FA577
Daniel John Martin
Urban Gypsy
Pierre Gagnaire
“When he’s not performing, Daniel catches the first Eurostar available to London. His magic box riveted to his wrist, his passport to the universe, his treasure, by that I mean his best friend; his violin. He takes refuge in parks around London where he composes his music surrounded by stranded animals, by squirrels and even geese as he told me recently. Afterwards he meets up with his fellow musicians. When we last met, he was going to a jazz violinist congress! I regretted not being able to tag along! It must have been magical! Magical to see this character come alive as if out of a comic book of the 1950’s when it comes to music… His body and his violin become one, his singular voice seems to embrace the notes as would a brook the rocks in it’s bed. The new compositions regrouped here will acquaint you with the energy and the subtlety of the author, his power as well as his restraint. Merci Monsieur Martin !»
