AFRICAN SOUNDS AT DUSK



Jean C. Roché met Anthony Walker in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, in 1969; where he taught music. This remarkable collection of recordings of southern African birds induced the sound specialist to remix Anthony’s sounds 25 years later to create four long concerts of the southern African bush. This CD takes the listener to the natural world of Matabeleland (west Zimbabwe, Manicaland (east Zimbabwe) and Botswana.

Stéreo and digital recording of the natural landscape sound. Since 1995, Frémeaux & Associés is the publisher of sound heritages and traditional music for relaxing and scientific listening: natural sound sceneries of endangered ecosystems in the world, wilderness atmospheres, bird songs and voices of the wildlife.
