RENE BOTTLANG - PHIL MINTON
Boby Lapointe was a free man and in consequence, only got on with free men. I therefore had no problem in entering his universe, in his bucolic environment, in his bars and neighbourhoods, where dreams mingle with life and love with laughter, in order to create music in his image, explained René BOTTLANG. Leaving alchemy to one side, the rest, of course, is a matter of writing, which is not always simple. It is effectively difficult to be inspired by the music itself, which is often reduced to its most simple form of expression. I’ve used the words like music, that’s why I called for Phil Minton, who doesn’t speak French and proceeds onomatopoeically.
