FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where can I download my purchased works?
  • After your order is confirmed, an email containing the download links is immediately sent to you (don’t forget to check your "Spam" folder).
  • You can also find the links to download your works in your personal account. To access it:
    1. Log in to your account at www.fremeaux.com.
    2. Go to « My Account » and then to « Order History and Details ».
    3. Select « Details » to obtain the download links.
Q: What formats are available for audio downloads?

You can download the works in one, the other, or both of the following formats:

  • MP3: Ideal for on-the-go listening or spoken recordings (lightweight files). The files are properly named (cover image, album title, artist, track title, author, etc.), making them easier to manage in your digital library.
  • WAV: CD quality, for high-fidelity sound.

Access to additional information (« metadata ») is limited during the initial delivery of the files. However, your digital library software (Windows Media, Groove Music, iTunes, VLC Media Player, etc.) can usually complete this information automatically.

The audio files are delivered in a compressed folder (ZIP file). To fully use the contents of the compressed folder, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All..., and follow the instructions.

Q: Do I own the files?

Yes, once the works are purchased, they are yours!

You are free to store, move, and play them (no dedicated app required) on one or more playback or storage devices. Please note, however, that you remain subject to copyright laws, which prohibit public distribution or sharing of the content with third parties without specific authorization. For any questions on this topic, you can consult this page.

The booklets are available online on the product page of our website (in the « Booklet » section). When technically possible, a link to download the PDF version of the booklet is available at the top of the « Booklet » section on the product page.

Q: What formats are available for ebook downloads?

The works are available in two formats:

  • Epub: This is the format for e-readers (Kobo, Kindle, Vivlio, Boox Note, etc.), tablets, and apps dedicated to reading ebooks. This type of file allows for optimized display on your screen.
  • PDF: A standard format readable on computers, smartphones, most e-readers, and other devices capable of displaying files.

You download the works in both formats and can choose to use one or the other or both.

Q: Is it possible to share a download?

Download purchases are strictly personal. Once your purchase is confirmed, the download links are tied to the customer account used during the order (to access the works, you need the personal login details of the customer account).

You are free to store the files on multiple storage devices (e.g., your laptop, smartphone, e-reader, MP3 key for your car, desktop computer, etc.), but these files must remain for your personal use.

To share a work, you can gift it using a Gift Card.

Q: Is it possible to gift a digital work?

Thanks to the Gift Card system, you can gift a specific work or a monetary amount that the recipient can use freely.

  1. Go to www.fremeaux.com and click on « My Account ».
  2. If you are already logged in, click on « Log Out » and then log back in.
