Over the past few years I have purchased many Frémeaux & Associés recordings. They comprise a large part of my collection of world music. Not only am I delighted by the sound but the booklets that are included are both informative and readable.
I should have written sooner to express my appreciation for all you have done to preserve and present to the public the great sounds of the past but being naturally lazy, I did not do so until now. My latest purchase arrived today from your present U.S. outlet : Worlds Records, Novato, California. Il is “Swing in Europe. Big Bands 1933-1952”. After listening to CD1 I was compelled, at last to write this letter to tell you that it is the best compilation of European swing that I have ever heard and I enjoyed every swinging moment!
Let me add my praise to the many others you have been given for all of your productions. Please continue to make such work available to all of us who appreciate your efforts."
